Jatoba is a hardwood commonly known as Brazilian Cherry, however it is not part of the Cherry tree family but is actually of the legume family. Jatoba wood is commonly found in the Caribbean, Central America, South America. When finished it is a warm brown color with dark brown and red hues mixed in its grain.
Application of wood oil or conditioner is recommended in order to maintain its luster and lifespan.
